rdl - Reference Data

NOTE: The above diagram may change

This in the place where everything comes together, as far as the publicly available reference data are concerned. It is the result of a using of

  • the edm ontology, with all imported other ontologies, to type entity type instances, and
  • the tpl ontology to type the template instances that define information about them.

It is stored in a publicly accessible SPARQL endpoint, a URI to which you send a SPARQL request (Query, Update etc) and to which the endpoint responds appropriately.

So, in essence it contains "core" classes and templates defining information about these classes.
